However, to make her both ends meet she took job of a loan development officer but could not suppress her love and feeling for acting and modeling. Her first fashion assignment that made her famous occurred, instantly, as she was browsing the website of FHM Magazine, she sent some photographs of her in the lingerie section of the magazine that was known to be known as “Honey Next Door”. The photos appeared in the December 2002 edition of the magazine and received whopping response from the readers of the magazine and soon she was again on the March and May issues of the magazine in year 2003.

In year 2003 became a faithful one for her, as she danced in Dave Chappelle’s Show on Comedy Central as well as music video of P.Diddy, Nelly and Murphy Lee’s “Shake Ya Tailfeather”. Acting in various video programs she ended her year as FHM’s “Rear of the Year” award and in subsequent year she became FHM Model of the year. In January 2004, she joined F/C Management Company thus established her as model and also moved towards her acting career as well. Soon she was in the pages of the every big fashion and glamour magazine including DUB, Smooth, Escape, Playboy and Open your eyes. She also acted in a number of programs in Spanish language. In April 2005 she entangled in a controversy when her camera phone with Dozens of photos including nude ones was hacked and she was dropped from her record label being this act denouncing as a publicity stunt. In 2005, she was placed on 26th spot in "F.H.M's Top 100 Sexiest Females" of 2005. Later on, she produced her two own swimsuits calendars and a 2006 DVD naming as Vida Guerra: Exposed.

In July 2006 she appeared in Playboy in her first formal nude photographs. In the year she acted in first debut album. By the year 2007, she was hosting a Speed TV show called “Livin’ The Low Life”. And her old relations with FHM renewed when she appeared on the Jan/Feb 2007 issue of FHM.
